Jema Zogbo Lackay (Head & Founder)

Lofa County, Liberia 

Jema is the Founder and President of FHF. She holds a Master’s degree in Forest and Nature Conservation Policy and Society from Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Additionally, she has a Master of Science in Environment Management and Water Resources Development from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from Cuttington University in Suakoko, Liberia. Jema has experience in project development, planning, and execution, MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning), fundraising, advocacy, and analyzing forest and agriculture data to support decision-making by stakeholders. Her expertise in community livelihood sustainability, and forest conservation was gained from six years of working in various roles within the Department of Forest Management and Development. Jema and her husband have three children. They are members of and worship at the International Christian Fellowship (ICF) Church in Wageningen. Jema enjoys traveling, reading, woodworking, and spending time with her husband and family.

Aileen Martinia (Financial Director)

was born in Semarang, Indonesia. She holds a bachelor degree in Chemistry from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia and a master degree in Biotechnology from Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Currently, she works for the Nederlandse Spoorwegen. Her commitment to the Fruitful Harvests Foundation is driven by her compassion for the oppressed and afflicted. Aileen is a member of the River Amsterdam Church, where she actively participates. Outside of her professional and philanthropic pursuits, she finds joy in traveling, art and cherishing moments with her family and friends.

Tessa Marseille (Treasurer & Social Media Coordinator)

Wageningen, the Netherlands

Tessa is the treasurer of FHF and coordinates the social media channels. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Development and is currently also pursuing a Master’s degree in International Development at Wageningen University & Research, specifically focusing on topics surrounding conflict, peacebuilding, and gender. She has experience volunteering for UNICEF and has performed study-related field work in Liberia and Uganda. She is committed to make a positive impact on our world and strives to advocate for locally driven and gender-inclusive development. In her free time, Tessa loves to travel, hike, read, and spend time with friends and family.

Lumer Satriani Daeli  (member of the board)

Lumer Satriani Daeli is an Indonesian  who completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biosystem Engineering at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in exchange programs at Yamagata University, Japan, focusing on Environmental Science, and at Kochi University, Japan, concentrating on Rural Development. She pursued her Master’s degree in Environmental Science with a specialization in Environmental Policy and Economics at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Currently, she is in her first year of PhD studies in Public and Environmental Policy at Wageningen University. Lumer works on various topics, particularly in the fields of food, energy, carbon, waste, water, social, and environmental issues. Her passion extends beyond sustainability to include education, community development, community building, project management, and entrepreneurship. She is particularly interested in working with diverse groups. In her spare time, Lumer enjoys playing music, reading books, embroidering, and socializing with people.

Chinsinsi Chikabvumbwa  (volunteer)

Chinsinsi Chikabvumbwa is from Lilongwe district in Malawi and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Irrigation Engineering from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUARNAR) (Formerly University of Malawi – Bunda College of Agriculture) in 2010. She also has a  Master of Technology (MTech) in Hydrology obtained from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) in 2020 and a Certificate in Project Management for Managers offered by the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), India. Chinsinsi has vast experience in managing projects from planning, designing and execution, especially in capacity building and construction obtained in 13 years of working in different posts in the Department of Irrigation. Chinsinsi currently lives in Lilongwe, working as the Principal Irrigation Officer. In her spare time loves reading, camping and serving in her Church group.
